About Built with Foam Shims: Our shims work well on walls, ceilings, and are great as depth gauges for self-leveling pours. The original foam Wall Flattening Shim Kit includes 900+ shims per box in seven different thicknesses. The new Pro Shim Kit are made from a 9000 PSI honeycomb plastic with 552 per kit. The Pro shims work best for cement boards, Hardie Backer, drywall, and other harder materials. Both the foam shims and the honeycomb shims are color coded for easy identification.
We have refill kits available in individual thicknesses so you only have what you need on hand.
